About Us
The Big Lip Fish Club is a creative group of 12 whimsical fish, each with its unique personality and characteristics. They are all based on astrology's zodiac signs.

Each watercolor fish was carefully designed and hand painted by watercolor artist Sandra Galloway. The vivid color and vibrant contrasts are meant to showcase the fish's unique attitudes and identities.

About our creator: Sandra Galloway
One warm sunny afternoon, while teaching friends how to paint watercolor fish on the shore of Lake Michigan, visions of colorful big-lipped fish began to form in my mind. Before long the 12 whimsical fish of the Big Lip Fish Club was born.

As a child in Michigan, Sandra dreamed of being an artist. " As I grew older, she admits, " the dream just took hold of my life, and turned into something much more like an obsession."
​
She is an internationally well-known watercolor artist with works in private and corporate collections around the world and is the winner of numerous awards for her paintings.
​
She has a degree in Graphic Arts from Western Michigan University and worked in the field for ten years. Later, she developed art programs for school districts and taught middle and high school students.
As a resident of Pine Island Florida, Sandra has become a big part of the Florida arts community. While she remains a member of Michigan and National Art Education Associations and the Art Board of Adrian College, she is also active in the Florida Watercolor Society and the Naples Art Association. She sells her art at many juried art festivals throughout Florida.
